Severe Weather Guidelines
Worship Service:
1.) Severe weather cancellations are up to the Weather Committee.
- Cancellations will be publicized by way of radio (KWLM 1340AM, KDJS 1590AM, KBHD 91.9 FM) and telephone.
- Cancellations may not be able to be publicized if severe weather develops too quickly.
2.) If there is a tornado watch or warning within one hour of the service time, the service will be canceled.
3.) If severe weather develops during worship, the President and Vice President will decide and announce appropriate action.
Ministries:
1.) Severe weather cancellations are up to the ministry leaders.
- Cancellations will be publicized by way of email or phone.
- Cancellations may not be able to be publicized a severe weather develops too quickly.
2.) If there is a tornado watch or warning within one hour of the scheduled time for the activity, it will be cancelled.
3.) If severe weather develops during an activity the leaders will decide and announce appropriate action.
4.) If CMCS is cancelled, all evening activities will automatically be cancelled.
