125 Years of God’s Amazing Love …And may all who follow find us faithful First Christian Reformed Church Prinsburg, MN For the Lord is good and His love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:5
1886-2011
As you have read by way of the bulletin, our church will be celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2011. A committee has chosen a theme, logo, Bible verse, and song for the anniversary. You can view all of these in the above letterhead that we have created for this purpose. The song (which is not listed) is “Find Us Faithful”.
We will have our main celebration on Sunday, May 1, as that is the Sunday closest to April 29. Our church was founded on that date in 1886. We will also be celebrating on Sunday, July 3, as many former members might be able to come then rather than in May. This will be in conjunction with the CMCS 100th Anniversary. The church’s celebration will conclude with the summer picnic which we have been having the last few years. That event will be on Wednesday, August 3.
Schedule of anniversary events:
Sunday, May 1: Remembering the past: Attending services and bringing dinner to share in between the services (Arriving by horse and buggy. This last item might be rather tough as very few use horse and buggy, and we don’t have a horse barn to keep horses in either.)
9:30 AM Service (details to be worked out)
12 noon - potluck dinner at CMCS (Circles 3 & 8 will set up and take down)
2:00 PM - Celebratory program which will include words from former pastors or spouses, musical numbers and a historical overview.
After the program: Coffee & cookies/bars
Sunday, July 3 - 9:30 AM service with former pastors, special music, and recognition of all who are or have been in ministry.
6:30 PM service
Wednesday, August 3 - evening potluck and program (responsibility of the Evangelism Committee)

The main committee has decided to have coffee mugs made available as a souvenir of our 125th anniversary. These mugs will sell for $5.00. We will also be having an anniversary booklet printed. These items will be made available around May 1. More information will be forthcoming on these items.
